Where does Rudraksh beads are found

In some parts of Nepal,there is a huge tree of Rudraksh where these beads are found.Approx 25 percent is found in Nepal,70% are found in Indonesia and 5% in India.

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF RUDRAKSH :
This fruit contains alkaloids, flavonoids,tannins, steroids,carbohydrates and cardiac glycosides.It also contains rudrakine,an alkaloid, which has been discovered in Rudraksha bead in 1979.
The five faced stone is representative of Lord Hanuman.

Story of 11 Mukhi Rudraksh: One day, Lord Shiva was doing meditation on Kailash Parvat.He saw images of people crying in pain and dying. There was one demon named Kalkaarmukh. He got the blessing of being invincible from Bramhaji because of his bravery and confidence. Kalkarmukh started misusing his powers and killed 11 saints. He wanted to establish fear among people and show superiority.
All the Gods were scared of him. He can only be killed by one person who is capable of impossible tasks. Lord Hanuman had the power to transform his body in any manner. All Gods requested him to help them.He took birth as a saint on the birthdate of Kalkarmukh, adopted 11 faces and killed him.When Lord Shiva woke up from his meditation, he got to know about this incident.The 11th tear of LordShiva was crowned as 11 mukhi rudraksh in the commemoration of 11 mukhi Hanuman.

Effectiveness: People have the wrong notion that only Nepali beads are effective. But,in actuality Indonesian beads are a little easier to procure than Nepali beads.Indonesian beads are smaller and lighter in weight than Nepali beads but not inferior.
