What is anger??? When ever we are unable to have control over our emotions, the outrage which comes is anger.
Or when we try to overpower someone we show anger sometimes. But does anger really help?
We all have heard of Karma, karmik connections. How does anger plays a role into it. Well the answer is it plays a very major role in deciding our future fate.
It is said that according to a Karmik theory that whenever we think of something bad for others,do something bad to someone,or even talk bad about someone we take on their bad karma. Which means what all bad things which were suppose to happen to them will happen to us and good things will happen to them.
Once upon a time. There was a sage named Durvasa. He was the son of a great sage Atri and Anusuya. Once Lord Shiva became so angry with Durvasa that his anger was creating disharmony, he diverted that anger into the womb of Anusuya.
Once at saint Kanva’s Ashram, Shakuntala neglected saint Durvasa. This made Durvasa angry and he cursed Shakuntala that whoever she is thinking of right now will forget her.As a result King Dushyant forgot Shakuntala.
Once sage Durvasa met lord Shri Krishna and Rukmini while he was on a pilgrimage. He asked them to sit in his chariot. While pulling the chariot forward, Rukmini felt thirsty and she asked for water. Without seeking permission lord Krishna struck his foot on the ground and mata Ganga appeared.Rukmini quenched her thirst.Durvasa got infuriated and cursed her to be separated from lord Krishna.
Anybody can become angry.
But to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time and the right purpose and in the right way – that is not within everyone’s power.’There are various ways by which we can control our anger:
1. Divert your mind: By switching our minds from the wrong thoughts or events which are happening we can control anger.
2.Drink water: Whenever we feel angry we should drink water and settle down.
3.Meditation : By practicing meditation we can control our minds and it won’t get disturbed easily by small events.
4.Listen music: By listening music we can divert our mind and drift ourselves from anger.
5. Reading: By reading good books which have positive things we can divert our mind from getting angry. For example:Shrimad Bhagvad Gita.
Above mentioned are few ways by which we can control our anger. Anger only leads to loss and pain.Sadly, these things are realised only when either the time is gone (i.e something wrong has had happened) or we are facing the repercussions of the same, which is again KARMA.
As you sow,so shall you reap. There are various anger and stress management programme nowadays offline and online which people can do to control anger.
Anger is our enemy, say bye to anger.
