At the end of the movie “Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai”, the protagonist mentions how Lord Shiva never forgave Ravana because what he did (abducting Sita disgusting as a sage) was a maha paap because it affected sainthood for centuries to come and there’s no forgiveness for such Mahapaap.WWS#101: Why Lord Shiva Never Forgave Ravana(And How That Might Help You)
Do you know if this story is based on the actual canonical text or any variation of Ramayana?
My guess is that this is an original story made for this movie…
I know this is a question coming out of nowhere, but if you could please answer this question I would be very grateful.
