        In ancient times, King Suketuman used to rule in Bhadravatipuri. The king and queen were forbidden the joy of becoming parents, even after a long time of marriage. The king went into the deep forest and started walking around it one day because he was feeling depressed. The king noticed a wise man reciting some Vedas by the beautiful lake in the forest. When the king arrived, he gave the wise man his greeting. We are the gods of the world, the wise men said, and we have come here to take a bath. The king asked him for the solution while also expressing his sadness at being childless. You have asked this question on a very auspicious day, today is Paush Shukla Ekadashi, the wise man informed the king. Following this, the king kept the Putrada Ekadashi fast according to the wise man’ instructions. After some time, the queen gave birth to a bright son because of the virtue of this fast. The son of this king grew up to be a man of faith and a defender of his people.

        It is believed that anyone who observes Pausha Putrada Ekadashi fast will be blessed with a bright future, long children’s lives, and prosperity and happiness in their own lives. On this day, one can achieve happiness, peace, and success by resting in Kshir Sagar and worshipping Mother Lakshmi and Shri Narayan. As per the Padma Purana, keeping this fast yields the benefits of Agnishtom Yagya, and all those who follow Shri Hari are blessed. fulfils desires. This fast is regarded as an excellent way to fulfil your desire to become a parent.

        Putrada Pausha Ekadashi will remove all sins, whether they are done intentionally or not. Lord Shri Narayan, the one who speaks of all desires and successes, should to be worshipped on this day. The Ekadashi fast regulations begin on Dashami’s night, so on that evening, consume Satvik food before dusk, and in the morning, rise before dusk and sip Ganga water. Combine them, take a bath, and decide to fast. Prior to placing the God image on the Kalash after worshipping it, tie a red cloth around it during the puja. Before the idol of Lord Vishnu, light a ghee lamp and present water, Akshat, flowers, sandalwood, incense, clothes, etc. Chant the Lord Vishnu mantra and tell the Putrada Ekadashi story after that. After presenting God with Prasad, perform Aarti. Continue your fast all day, and then have some fruit in the evening.

        On this day, people worship Lord Krishna in his child form in order to fulfil their wish to become parents. After taking a morning bath, the couple who wishes to have a deserving child should worship Lord Shri Krishna by dressing in yellow. Chanting the Santan Gopal Mantra is recommended after this.

        According to the astrological calendar, Putrada Ekadashi tithi of Paush month will start on January 1 at 7:12 pm and will end on January 2 at 8:24 pm. According to Udaya Tithi, the fast will be observed on Monday, January 2.
